Weekly Games

  • A game is offered each Tuesday in which players have the option of participating or not.  A handicap is not required to play most of the weekly games. A list of the weekly games can be downloaded by clicking on the following link: Weekly Games
    • Generally a $1.00 fee is required to participate and the player must sign-up and pay prior to play.  Funds are awarded to the winners (by handicap division) the following week.
  • Players may also pay 25ȼ to participate in the Chip-In contest each week.  The player who chips-in her ball from off the green during that night’s play, wins all the funds in the Chip-In “pot”.
    • In the event of more than one chip-in occurring in that night’s play, the funds are divided equally between the winners.

Weekly Games Schedule

  • LPLTL August Tournaments: To participate in the Lake Padden Ladies Twilight League August Tournaments, players must have played at least two times during League Play prior to the beginning of August.  Each Tuesday during the month of August, players will turn in their scorecards at the end of their round and the best two out of four scores will be used to determine the winners of gross and net scores for each handicap division.  Prizes are awarded the winners at the League’s end-of-the-year Awards Banquet.
  • Match Play: League players have the option of signing up to participate in the League’s Match Play in addition to regular League Play on Tuesday nights. In Match Play, the Match Play Coordinator pairs up participants for the first round of play and the players compete hole-by-hole, with the player who wins the most holes winning the match.  Winners of matches play subsequent matches with each other in accordance with the scheme laid out by the Match Play coordinator until one winner remains.  Players who lost their match will play subsequent matches with other players in the Lost Match Play bracket in accordance with the scheme laid out by the Match Play coordinator until one winner remains.  The winner in the Winning Match Play then plays the winner in the Lost Match Play.  The winner of that contest is the League’s Match Play Winner of the Year and receives an award at the League’s end-of-the-year Awards Banquet.
  • Mt Baker League (MBT) Play: Players must have a handicap to participate. League players have the option of signing up to participate in Match Play with players from other women’s golf leagues in the area (i.e., at Avalon Golf Links, Bellingham Golf & Country Club, Lake Padden, North Bellingham, Peace Portal, Semiahmoo, and Sudden Valley golf courses).  MBT matches are usually scheduled every two to four weeks and are held at one of the participating league’s golf course.  Two players from each league are paired up with two players (in the same handicap division) from another league and play as a team against the other foursomes to get best gross and net scores. Points are awarded to each team based on their scores. A total of seven matches are played with league pairings changing for each match. The league with the most points for gross or net (or both) is announced at the end of the September round of golf and win the title of MBT Winners of the Year. If you are interested in participating for one or more of the matches, please contact April. We need six players per match so we usually recruit for six plus two alternates. • WSWPLA Play: Players must have a handicap to participate.  The Washington State Women’s Public Links Association’s competitions are also an option available to League players.  Every month during the golf season, a WSWPLA competition is held at one of the state’s member courses.  Participants are assigned flights by the WSWPLA Tournament Director and prizes are awarded to winners of the flights.  A handicap over 40 is acceptable, but the player will be playing to a handicap of 40 if she participates. If you are interested in participating, please contact Leslie. A schedule of WSWPLA tournaments can be downloaded by clicking on this link: WSWPLA 2022 Schedule.
