Tournament Update for WSGC – May 14, 2020
The tournament season is resuming and here is what you need to know.
Currently the course is open for twosome play only. This may change and we will adjust accordingly.
1 – Summer Championship Match Play – The field will be limited to 64. Once we have 64 entries the field will be closed. THE FIELD IS NOW FULL AT 64 – IF THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST WE MAY RUN A SECOND TOURNAMENT OF 16 OR 32 PLAYERS – E MAIL US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. MORE TO FOLLOW.
2 – Spring Field Day is rescheduled for May 30, 2020 – We will play in groups of 2, 3 or 4. It is too early to determine this based on the current guidelines. ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN!!!!
3 – The Club Championship is now scheduled for June 13. ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN!!!!
4 – If you are still alive in the 2 Person Scramble Match Play and can play at a course allowing groups of 4 you may schedule a match. You will not be disqualified if you wait for WSGC to open up to 4 some play. At some point we will be asking everyone to make an effort to get their matches in.
5 – At this point we have not made a decision on the 2 Person Best Ball Match Play. It was scheduled to start on 3/28.
